Diet & Nutrition
“Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food” – Hippocrates (c.460-370BC)
Like a car needs fuel and water to function, our bodies need the correct food and water to give us energy .
Many problems like eczema, arthritis, psoriasis, stress, depression, fatigue, constipation and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) can be a direct result of poor nutrition.
Joint pain can result from having a high acid diet, constipation from eating little fibre or not drinking enough fluids, stress and depression can mean you are deficient in certain vitamins and fats.
Every physical illness can be helped with the right intake of nutritious food and water.
This therapy is designed to educate and ensure that your daily diet is your medicine and not your poison. Following a consultation and completion of a nutrition diary an assessment will be made. Advice on dietary changes and lifestyle may be discussed and if necessary a diet plan provided
The correct eating plan can help:
